It penetrates & seals wood grain fibers, creating a waterproof barrier that can be used on bare wood as well as under paints and top coats.

Instructions
Environment: Apply in an environment between 68-75ºF.
Preparation: Sand bare wood with 220 grit sandpaper.
Application: Apply one coat of It’s Knot Shellac and allow to dry. Lightly scuff-sand to remove any raised grain fibers. Apply an additional 1-2 coats to seal wood and provide an excellent surface that is ready to paint or topcoat.
Dry Time: Allow 1-2 hours of drying time between coats.
It’s “Knot” Shellac can be used in place of a primer for sealing stains and blocking tannins.
