Sparkle and Protect with Confidence

About the Product

CrystaLac Glitter Glue Adhesive is a clear, permanent bonding glue that is ideal for adhering and sealing crafting projects. It is water-based and non-yellowing, making it safe to use and FDA compliant since it contains no V.O.C's and is non-toxic.

  • For All Your Creative Endeavors – CrystaLac Glitter Glue bonds to a wide range of surfaces, including glass, plastic, metal, ceramic, wood, fabric, and paper. This ensures that it can be used for various crafting projects, providing a reliable and permanent bond.

  • Breathe Easy – The glue is water-based and contains no VOCs. It is also non-toxic and FDA compliant, making it safe to use for both adults and children, providing peace of mind during crafting activities.

  • Forever Clear – CrystaLac Glitter Glue can serve as a clear, non-yellowing sealant to keep the glitter in place and act as a barrier coat between the glitter and top coat. This additional layer provides durability and protection to maintain the sparkle and prevent glitter from flaking or rubbing off.

  1. Prep: Start with a clean surface. Scuff sanding the tumbler is recommended for best adhesion. Glitter Glue can be applied directly to the surface or over a primer coat.

  2. Application: Squeeze out a line of glue and spread it evenly over the entire surface using a soft bristled brush. Wetting the brush first will help the glue spread easily.

  3. Add Glitter: Next apply glitter to the wet glue. After 1 hour, press down glitter to make it as flat and smooth as possible. If needed, a second application can be applied using the same process.

  4. Dry Time: Wait 2 hours between coats. Glitter Glue dries with a tacky film and needs to be sealed with a permanent Top Coat. We recommend using a CrystaLac top coat like Grande Finale or Brite Tone.

  5. Seal: Glitter Glue can also be used as a sealant over glitter to keep it in place and as a barrier coat between the glitter and top coat. It can be diluted with a 2:1 ratio of Glitter Glue to water for an easy spray application, or it can also be brushed on.

  6. Clean Up: Clean up brushes and spills immediately with soap and water. Dried glue can be difficult to remove. Use gloves to prevent glue from drying on skin.

Note: If you are going to spray Glitter Glue, please refer to the safety instructions.
